Quote:⚠ Important Notes
  • Use the right file for your model. PSP Go firmware only works on the PSP Go (N1000). Regular PSP firmware is for the PSP-1000, 2000, 3000 and E1000 (Street).
  • Official firmware cannot be downgraded. You can only install a version equal to or higher than what is currently on your system.
  • Never turn off the PSP or remove the battery / Memory Stick during an update. An interrupted update can brick the system.
  • Custom firmware users: installing official firmware removes your CFW. Older versions are mainly useful for homebrew setups that need a specific firmware.
  • Entries marked from UMD game disc were taken from game discs. Build 1 / build 2 are two different official files released under the same version number.
  • Always verify the MD5 hash after downloading to make sure the file is complete and unmodified.
